The first watch I tried to rebuild was what I now know to be a nearly irreparable Timex pin-lever. That effort ended quickly in an explosion of tiny gears. My second try was a 7 jewel Waltham. This went better, but I crushed one of the pinions trying to wrestle the wheel train bridge back on. This Enicar here is my third attempt, and the first on a watch I actually like.
I had already pulled the movement from the case when I started taking pictures.

This is as far as I got on this one. I twisted the head off the crown wheel screw, not knowing it is left hand threaded, and dropped the fourth wheel and popped it off its pinion. I'll need to learn to press it back on, plus soak the barrel bridge in an alum solution to get the rest of the crown wheel screw out before I can bring this lovely watch back to life.
